Reliant Access Business Class SDSL service is available in speeds
ranging from 144 kbps (kilobits per second) to 1.5 Mbps (megabits
per second). All speeds are symmetrical, meaning that downloads
and uploads are equally fast. Since DSL travels on telephone lines,
actual speeds will depend on proximity to the telephone company's
Central Offices (COs). Guaranteed line speed corresponds to the
synchronization from the customer's location to the Reliant Access
network.
IP Addressing
TeleSpeed service includes flexible IP address options. When placing
your order you can select a simple NAT IP address configuration,
allowing you to have a one static IP address with up to 254 private
IP addresses. Or you can choose a set of static IP address configurations.
Additional IP addresses are available at an additional cost. See
the chart below for monthly fees.

Translation (NAT) is an Internet Standard that allows your local
network to use private IP addresses, which are not recognized
on the Internet. With NAT, Covad provides one IP address for the
router which comes as a part of your DSL service that accesses
the Internet, and then allows up to 253 IP addresses for your
internal use.
